Introduction to GW Store

Early in 2008, our director, Jason Sole, motivated by the love for his kids, and the uncertain future that they face due to growing concerns over climate change, decided that he would do his part to help relieve the effects of global warming. In April 2008, he started GW Solutions, an information site with the basics about global warming; and GW Store, a site providing renewable energy products and various other ways for people to offset their carbon footprints. Since our opening, we have grown at an incredible rate, to become one of the most popular alternative energy companies in the country today.

It did not take long for us to realize that although the market is growing, it is still in its infancy and people are still in need of more information. Our solution: a compilation of in depth websites providing information about everything there is to know within the industry. Our aim is to create a "hub" or "database" of information for anyone who wants to know about global warming, renewable energy and/or the latest news and reviews.

We have set up a testing station, which will be followed by an interactive website where users can watch us testing, comparing and using the products found at GW Store, and post their own comments on our projects. We will also be setting up GW Blog, where people can keep up with what's going on within the South African market, as well as comment and discuss facts and ideas.

With all this going on, we must not forget our ultimate goal; to raise awareness and reduce carbon emissions, to save a world that is slowly withering away around us.
